Twisted Monkeys

Twisted Monkey is a sidescroller game in which the player controls ”Spazdnaut”, a lab monkey that has been used for a variety of tests for the sake of ’mankind’. Prolonged exposure and abuse by drug tests, endurance tests, several trips around the earth’s upper atmosphere and overall neglect for ’Monkey Rights’ have left poor Spazd’ mentally distraught and off balance. But one day, a negligent lab tech did not close his cage properly...

The objective of the game is to control Spazd as he escapes from his cage and proceeds toward the exit of the compound to escape to freedom. He will need to overcome security stations and security guards, lab technicians and chemically enhanced lab creatures of various types. There will be a variety of items throughout the ’levels’ to aid Spazd in his quest. These will include ’power ups’ to enhance physical abilities (speed, strenght, etc.), heal from damage, Monkey Rights documents, and a variety of items usable on opponents.
